Deep freezers keep food frozen at or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, or -18 degrees Celsius. The term “deep freezer” used to mean an appliance with colder temperatures and a faster freezing process than fridge freezers.

Be sure to check the electrical outlet, thermostat and airflow around vents. Cooling problems can also be caused by dust on condenser coils, faulty gaskets, clearance space around the refrigerator, a broken or stuck condenser fan or a faulty circuit board.

We know a refrigerator doesn't work best when it's overstuffed. However, we know it won't work well being empty either. Food absorbs the cold air, which helps to chill the food next to it. When the refrigerator is too empty, the appliance is working very hard (and costing you money) just to cool a few items.
In general, when the wind chill is 32° and above, it's safe to be outside. In temperatures 13° to 31°, indoor breaks should happen every 20-30 minutes. For wind chills of 13° and below, you should move activities indoors and outside of the cold as frostbite can set in very quickly.
