Once installed your Perfect fit blind frames will protrude approximately 12 mm forward from your window frame. If you have window handles then you may need to fit a window handle spacer to ensure the window handle has clearance to turn in front of your newly installed perfect fit frame.
How Shallow is Too Shallow for Inside Mount Blinds? Inside mount blinds require a minimum of ¾” of window depth in order to install the brackets. If your window depth is larger than ¾”, your blinds will not be flush but can still be installed inside the window frame.

Perfect fit blinds won't stay where I position it
If your roller blind is moving up and down just fine but won't stay in a position you place it, then it needs some troubleshooting. Most likely, it will be because of a dusty ratchet that needs lubrication.
Again, take a note of the shortest measurement. Next, measure the depth of the window frame. To do this, simply place a credit card over the corner of the frame and use a metal ruler to measure from the glass, out to the edge of the card. This measurement will usually be between 18 and 24mm.
You need to make sure your window is suitable for a Perfect Fit blind. Ensure your window has a rubber beading between the window frame and the glass. Extending the blinds outside the window will also provide the space needed for the mounts and help the window appear larger than it actually is.
