Make sure the door is open If you have enabled a programming code, enter your programming code, then press Kwikset. You will hear one short beep and then keypad will flash green. You can identity the type of Kwikset lock you have by locating a small vertical slot on the plug. This is located to the left of the cylinder's keyway.
