BioGuard Salt Pool Sparkle is a maintenance oxidiser for salt chlorinated pools with a unique blend of oxidising and clarifying agents.
The key to making your pool sparkle is consistent maintenance. Establish a weekly routine and adhere to the schedule of cleaning and balancing chemicals. Adjust this schedule as necessary to accommodate pool use, excessive heat and heavy rains. Water assesment: Most swimming pool supply stores will do testing for free.
IQ's Pool Shimmer is used for creating crystal clear water by eliminating body fats, oils and removing dissolved metals. This product is a concentrated, natural and biodegradable clarifier. Pool Shimmer works by coagulating fine particles of suspended matter so that they may be trapped in the filter.
Turns swimming pool crystal clear overnight; Fast-acting clarifier; It brightens and aids filtration; Indicated for swimming pools with no skimmer baskets.
Clears water, clears cloudy water. Fast acting. Clarifier, adds sparkle.
Remove, clean and replace cartridge, then with pump running, add 8 cups of Sparkle Up per 100 square feet of filter area. Clean cartridges when pool clears, or if filter pressure reaches manufacturer's recommended maximum psi.
The cause is either chemical imbalance, circulation/filtration issues, or environmental effects. To fix it, you'll first want to test your pool chemistry to make sure everything is in balance, then throw in some clarifier or flocculant to clump the debris. Your filter will take care of the clumps and voilà…
Polychite (Non toxic, biodegradable) A concentrated, natural and biodegradable clarifier. It coagulates fine particles of suspended matter so that they may be trapped in the filter. Removes metals, body fats and oils from the water leaving pool water crystal clear. Assist in preventing scum lines around the pool.
When the pool pump is running, the skimmer works by pulling water and floating debris from the pool surface through a pivoting flap called a weir. After the debris passes through the weir, it gets collected by the skimmer basket. This continues until the pool pump is turned off.
To keep your pool water clear and sparkling, you must remove organic materials like leaves, insects and other debris. While your filter will remove smaller particles, large items may not make it into the system. If they're left to sit in the water, they can break down and leave the pool dirty and cloudy.
Although it's generally recommended that all the pool water undergo filtration every 24 hours, the pump does not need to run all the time. A proactive, productive and energy-saving maintenance activity is to remove the debris floating on the pool surface with a hand-held skimmer.
BioGuard Sparkle Up is a cellulose filter aid intended to be used when your filter experiences difficulty in filtering very small particles. This product helps the filter remove tiny particles of dirt, plaster dust, dead algae, pollen, and other small bits of debris.
The simple answer is No. Baking soda cannot be used to clear up a cloudy pool because it is a base. Bases raise PH levels, which causes the water to turn cloudy. Some people suggest using baking soda as a quick fix to high alkalinity levels, but it's not reliable as a pool chemical.
If your pool water is below 150 ppm, you need to add more calcium. At this point, your water will appear clear and sparkling. But its appearance is deceptive. In this state, the water isn't at a safe level.
Excessive levels of pool chemicals can cause your water to become cloudy. High pH, high alkalinity, high chlorine or other sanitisers, and high calcium hardness are all common culprits.
The HTH® Super Clarifier coagulates the tiny particles that cloud your water. The new, larger particles are easier for your filter to pick up and remove. Both biological and physical contaminants can make your pool water cloudy. Use HTH® Super Clarifier to remove dead algae and organic debris for crystal clear water.
If your chlorine levels are between 1 – 4 parts per millions and you still have cloudy water, try using a clarifier. You'll achieve best results by using the clarifier within 4 to 12 hours after each shock treatment, superchlorination or algaecide treatment to remove the dead algae or organic debris.
One pack of HTH Clear 4 Weeks is suitable for 50,000 litres of water or less. HTH Clear-4-Weeks should be stored away from small children and pets. If skin contact is made, rinse with for water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention immediately if inhaled or ingested.
The weir basket catches all the debris that the weir skims from the pool surface as well as picked up by the pool cleaner. It protects the pool pump from large debris that can damage the pump.
Clarifier does take some time to work, unlike flocculent. It usually takes 3-5 days. From the time you put the clarifier in the water, you'll need to filter your water for at least the first 24-48 hours, then as much as possible. Note that if you have algae, you should take care of that before using clarifier.
