14 OPEN – This icon is used with clock digits 1 and 2 to indicate violated zones (not alarm) on the sys- tem. When zones are opened, the OPEN icon will turn on, and 7 segment displays 1 and 2 will scroll through the violated zones. 15 Night – Indicates that the panel is armed in the Night Mode.

A user code can be deleted by pressing [DISARM] while the code is being changed. For a detailed explanation of attributes, refer to the Simon XT System Manual. TSSC: Up to 6 additional users may be assigned access to your system, however they can only be programmed by the Master user.
Security Code: This 4-digit code is used to arm and disarm your system, as well as set up and configure your ADT Smart Home system. Other User Codes are used to arm and disarm but cannot alter your system's settings.
This usually involves disconnecting the power source. Wait for a minute, then reconnect the power to reboot the system. After the system has rebooted, test it by arming and disarming using your user code. This ensures the reset was successful, and the system is functioning as intended.

If there's a low battery warning, you might need to replace the alarm system's battery. If the alarm persists after replacing the battery, consider power cycling the entire alarm system. Turn off the main power supply to the alarm, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on.
A low battery warning is most often displayed as BAT, LOW BATT or SYSTEM LO BAT on the touchpad. This warning signals that your battery is low and must be either recharged or replaced. You can learn how to silence your specific panel by visiting our Silence Low Battery Beeping page.
12. # KEY: Permits ARMING of the system without use of a security code ("Quick Arm", if programmed).
To arm the system in the AWAY, STAY, INSTANT or MAX mode, enter your user code and press the numeric key above the selected mode. To disarm the system enter your user code + OFF key [1].
To disarm, press the “Disarm” button, followed by your 4 digit master code. o Keychain: You may also use your keyfob/remote to disarm the system. You can do this outside your home before you come in, or after you enter your home. If you do it after you enter, you will have only 30 seconds to disarm the system.
15 Night – Indicates that the panel is armed in the Night Mode.
MyADT users, to place your ADT system on Test Mode, which pauses monitoring while testing your system, go to MyADT to sign in and get started: Log into MyADT.com. Click on Alarm System from the left menu. Click on the System Test tab.
Most systems will begin beeping or chirping as a result of a total power outage or failure to recharge the system backup battery. For many of our most popular systems, beeping alarms and low battery trouble beeps can be silenced by pressing the [OFF] or [#] buttons from the keypad.
Q: What are the signs that my alarm battery is low? Signs include a beeping keypad, an LCD warning code (e.g., BAT, LO BAT), or experiencing false alarms.
Low car battery
If your car battery's running low and isn't sending the right amount of voltage to the alarm system, it can set off the alarm. If your car battery is dead the morning after the alarm has been going off during the night, this is a likely culprit.
Requesting a Replacement Battery
If you choose to replace the battery yourself, contact ADT at 1-800-ADT-ASAP to have a replacement battery sent to you or you can purchase one at a local battery supply store.
The beeping sound the low battery alarm makes can become very annoying but can be disconnected by removing the drained battery from your home alarm system panel. Make sure to replace the drained battery with a new one to keep your home alarm system functioning properly.

Disconnect and Reconnect the Battery:
Reconnect them in reverse order. This action can reset the vehicle's systems, including the anti-theft system.
Reset the home security system
Even though you can turn the alarm off on your home security system without assistance, you cannot reset it on your own. Contacting the security company will allow you to have the system reset, although this may mean creating a new security code or pin number.
