Limescale toilet buildup is a result of hard water flowing through the pipes and leaving behind deposits of magnesium and calcium that gradually build up into stains and scaling. You can spot these stains and scaling almost anywhere the hard water flows: around taps, pipes, and toilet bowls.
A way to safely and effectively clean these surfaces is to grab mild soap, sponges, towels, white vinegar, and baking soda. In a bowl, combine hot water with a couple of drops of mild soap, and using a sponge or rag, clean the surface. First, scrub as much scum off as possible and then wipe it dry with a towel.
Bacteria, fungi, mold, and mildew among other things love to grow in the standing water of our toilets and are one cause of the dark ring around the edge of the toilet water (this is also one reason you should never let your pets drink from the toilet).
Pour vinegar into the tank
Pouring acidic cleaners down the toilet can help you prevent hard water stains and mineral deposits. Some people recommend lemon juice, but the most reliable and affordable product to use is white vinegar. Each month, pour a cup of white vinegar into the toilet tank.
Scoop out excess fluid from the toilet bowl so you can easily reach the calcium deposits. Pour distilled vinegar or lemon juice over the areas. Let the acidic liquids sit in the bowl overnight. The next day, use a stiff-bristled brush to scrub away any remaining deposits.
Use Vinegar & Baking Soda
This process can be used on sink or shower drains. White vinegar is a natural solution that can be utilized to dissolve calcium buildup. Sitting overnight, you will be able to remove lime buildup from the drain while avoiding the harsh chemicals in traditional drain cleaners.

For a more heavy-duty approach, you can pour an entire bottle of white vinegar over and around the bowl, remembering to cover all of it. Then, leave the vinegar to work for a few hours or overnight. Use your toilet brush to scrub any leftover limescale deposits away the next day.
The best way to tackle this problem is with an acidic solution, which can cut through the limescale. This can be achieved by using household products like baking soda and white vinegar.
After two or three days in the vinegar, the shell should be completely broken down.

Carbohydrates may enhance calcium absorption while coffee and cigarette smoke may impede it. The best way to get calcium is through food. Many foods are fortified with calcium. But some people may need to take calcium supplements to get the recommended amount.
In many cases, your body will reabsorb the calcium without any treatment. But the calcium deposits may return. Your doctor will first want you to ease your pain and inflammation with rest and an anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen or naproxen. If that doesn't work, you may need a cortisone injection.
