Fabuloso is pretty simple to use. The website lists a few suggested uses: To clean floors, mix 1/4 cup in a gallon of room temperature water. (Apparently, mixing Fabuloso with water helps it remove stains more effectively.) For bathrooms, walls, and other surfaces, you can use it on a sponge to clean.
Dilute 1⁄2 cup of Fabuloso® Antibacterial in a gallon of sterile deionized water and apply to surfaces with a mop, cloth or sponge. Apply Fabuloso® Antibacterial directly to surfaces with a mop, cloth or sponge. Leave on surfaces for at least 5 minutes. No rinsing required.
Fabuloso will release a chlorine gas when it is mixed with bleach. This becomes TOXIC and should not be mixed. These two cleaning products do not work together. The chemical released can be lethal to your lungs and a major damaging eye irritant.
Another alternative for disinfecting surfaces is mixing Fabuloso with rubbing alcohol. However, mixing Fabuloso with bleach, vinegar, ammonia, and some cleaning products like Ajax is not recommended because it can cause harmful chemical reactions that can harm your health.

Tide or some other laundry detergent will leave a thin film over your hardwood or laminate and it just doesn't look or feel good. Instead, use this Fabuloso Floor cleaner recipe: 1 Tbsp Oxiclean. 1/4 cup of Fabuloso.
When you use products such as Fabuloso or Pine-sol, they are not the correct products for your stone or tile investment. They can leave a residue behind that can dull your surface.
Although Fabuloso is non-toxic for humans and pets, it causes significant damage to insects and bugs. Its acidic formula and strong scent keep roaches away from your home and can even kill them on direct contact.
DO NOT use All-Purpose or Multi-Purpose cleaners, detergents, abrasive cleaners or “mop and shine” type products (such as Bleach, Pine-Sol, Clorox Soft Scrub, Fabuloso, Rejuvenate, Mop & Glo, Mr. Clean, Murphy's Oil Soap and similar, unapproved cleaners), as they will dull the finish and sheen of the flooring material.
Some use it for more than just cleaning their bathroom or kitchen. They boil it on the stove to make their home smell nice and clean.
According to the lawsuit, Colgate-Palmolive broke the law by omitting on its packaging that using certain Fabuloso products could increase their risk of contracting invasive infections, due to the contamination.

You can clean the toilet using this product by pouring a little into the bowl and scrubbing clean. But we don't recommend placing Fabuloso or any other all-purpose cleaner in the back of the toilet tank. Such cleaners can be corrosive and may degrade the rubber gasket and seal in your tank.
For a deep clean, probably every week or so, mix 6-7 drops of a mild detergent (dish soap is usually fine) with one gallon of warm or hot water. Use the mixture to dampen a mop, and clean the floor in sections.
Set up odor traps across the house
Leave out bowls of baking soda or distilled vinegar to absorb odors like magic. Alternatively, create your own deodorizing sachets by filling coffee filters with baking soda, tying them shut with string or ribbon, and putting them on shelves or in drawers.
As you clean your floors, the mop picks up dirt, grime, and bacteria, and if it's not cleaned properly or left to dry in a damp area, the bacteria can multiply and cause an unpleasant smell.
