Protect your photos
Store each photo individually in a plastic sleeve that is PVC free when you pack photos. You can find photo safe storage sleeves at your local hobby or photo supply store. An easy DIY alternative if you cannot find non-PVC sleeves is to use a Ziploc sandwich bag.
Before Packing
Liquids, gels and aerosols packed in carry-on must follow the Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels Rule : 3.4 ounces or less per container. 1 quart size, clear, plastic, zip top bag (all liquids must fit in bag) 1 bag per passenger.

"The best way to clean a resealable bag for reuse is to wash it with soap and water. "Do not turn the bag inside out when washing, as that can result in stress or tears in the bag," says Brigman. Make sure you scrub the seams of the bag thoroughly since food can get stuck in the seal.
