Matte Finish

As a general rule of thumb, it is best for a bathroom floor to be a darker shade than the accompanying walls and ceiling. However, if your personal preference dictates, you can choose to be adventurous and go against the grain in this regard.
Stains Can Be More Stubborn: Though they are easy to maintain, it can be a little difficult to remove stubborn stains from matte tiles. Having said that, it is not impossible. As their surface is not as smooth as glossy tiles, the stains can take a little while longer to remove.

Consider wood-look luxury vinyl tile
You can use real wood in a bathroom. Engineered planks have the stability to weather the changes in temperature and humidity, but luxury vinyl can be a better and more practical idea for small bathrooms.
The unfortunate answer is that it probably won't work great. Bathrooms tend to be moist places, and flat or matte paint will begin to grow mold or mildew much faster than other paint sheens. Also, it doesn't resist stains very well, and it is somewhat hard to clean.
Professional painters generally steer people away from flat, matte and eggshell finishes for bathroom projects because soft paints are prone to mildew in high humidity. They also aren't as easy to clean, an important feature for bathroom walls.
A matt finish is good for a bathroom ceiling paint choice, but not for all the walls.
Look for flooring that comes in a color that complements the other things in your bathroom like the vanity, counters, and fixtures. You can choose flooring in a neutral tone that will be easy to coordinate with linens and shower curtains.
Finally, given the tone of light floors, they tend to appear cleaner longer. Light-colored flooring often shows less dust, debris than do dark floors and pesky, inevitable scratches and damage will be less obvious.

Consider Large Format Tile in Small Bathrooms
A large format tile is great for small spaces. The reason has to do with grout joints. The larger the tile, the fewer grout joints you'll have and the greater sense of spaciousness you'll feel.
