Kitchen cabinets, often become greasy from cooking activities. The first thing I'd try for cleaning them would be hot water and something like Dawn Dish liquid. Dawn is great at cutting grease. Wipe gently in an inconspicuous place to make sure the finish of the cabinets won't be damaged.
There are a few ways to clean grease off kitchen cabinets. The easiest way is to use a degreaser, which can be found at most hardware stores. You can also use a mixture of dish soap and water, or a vinegar and water mixture. Be sure to rinse the cabinets thoroughly after cleaning.

What the company doesn't advertise -- and these days is reluctant to admit -- is that the grease-cutting part of the potion is made from petroleum. "To make the best product out there, you have to have some in there," says Ian Tholking of Procter & Gamble. He says less than one-seventh of Dawn comes from petroleum.
