Like with hardwood floors, vinegar's acidity will take away the shine and sheen of a no-wax floor, such as vinyl and linoleum. Using vinegar won't give you the light sudsy action that you need to get no-wax flooring clean.

Note: Disinfecting wipes that contain bleach are acceptable on vinyl. 7.5 to 9 is the recommended pH for bleach.
Don't Use: Ammonia-Based Solutions
Ammonia-based products, and even general cleaning solutions like Windex, will break down the vinyl fabric over time and shorten its life.
If vinegar isn't enough to remove built-up dirt and grime, go with a pH-neutral cleaning solution like Bona, ZEP, or Armstrong. Usually, you can use these cleaners to mop the floor as you normally would, but follow the instructions on the product label. Pine-Sol is also a suitable option for LVP.
