Can I clean the inside of my oven with Bar Keepers Friend? BKF requires thorough rinsing, which is difficult in non-drained, enclosed spaces such as an oven or microwave interior – so it is not recommended. Use BKF to clean areas that can be easily rinsed, such as the inside of an oven door.
Don't forget to scrub the racks with SOS pads and rinse them with water. If you do not like how easy off smells, I recommend @Bar Keepers Friend or the Scrub Daddy Power Paste. Both are safe for gas and electric ovens and can be used to clean the oven racks as well.

Keeping Your Oven Door Glass Clean
Once you've deep-cleaned your oven door, you can use Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser or BKF Multipurpose Cooktop Cleaner for lighter periodic cleaning. Shake the bottle well before opening.
But while BKF is not non-toxic (you cannot drink the stuff), it is approved for use on cookware and kitchen surfaces so long as you rinse everything well after cleaning.
If your toaster oven has a stainless steel exterior, this step will make a big difference too: Lightly sprinkle Bar Keepers Friend on a damp nonabrasive sponge or microfiber towel and apply it to the surface. Be careful not to get the cleaning solution inside the oven's vents.

Don't leave it on too long.
Instructions state that Bar Keepers Friend should be thoroughly rinsed from the surface you're cleaning after one minute. Leaving the product on too long can cause discoloration on some surfaces, so don't take a chance with this one.
Bar Keepers Friend is recommended for cleaning nonporous surfaces. However, because it contains an abrasive, before cleaning fiberglass, plastics, anodized aluminum, coated stainless steel, or brushed metal surfaces—including appliance exteriors—test it first on a small, inconspicuous area.
Prolonged use and extended skin contact may cause irritation, peeling and contact dermatitis, which is avoided by wearing gloves. The product can also be an eye irritant.
Bar Keepers Friend Doesn't Use Bleach
Bleach fumes will sometimes cause me to wheeze, if not start a full-fledged asthma attack. While Comet, Ajax, and other household cleaners are bleach-based and alkaline, Bar Keepers Friend isn't.
You can use either BKF Spray + Foam or the original powdered cleanser to clean your microwave. It depends on your preference. However, I recommend the powder for deeper stains or if your micro-nuke hasn't been cleaned for a while.
You can also use Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser and Bar Keepers Friend MORE Spray+Foam on most grill surfaces.
Baking soda is typically used for chewy cookies, while baking powder is generally used for light and airy cookies. Since baking powder is comprised of a number of ingredients (baking soda, cream of tartar, cornstarch, etc.), using it instead of pure baking soda will affect the taste of your cookies.
Replacing baking soda is fairly straightforward: Simple sub in three times' the volume of baking powder. If your recipe calls for a teaspoon of baking soda, for example, adding three teaspoons of baking powder will do the trick.
Just keep in mind that too much baking powder will leave a slightly bitter taste in your baked good, so I wouldn't use anymore than 2 tsp of baking powder per 1 cup of flour.
