I found a bottle of Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser for cleaning stainless steel pots and pans. It seemed like it might have the gumption I needed but be gentle enough for enamel. I tried it on the tub and voilà! It powered through the dingy grime with ease.
Enamel bathtubs are not scratchproof, so avoid using a scrubbing brush. Clean the bathtub without scrubbing by using a specially designed bathroom cleaner like those from Cif and Domestos, using a sponge or cloth to tackle dirt and stains.
For a deeper clean, we recommend using a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar using a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush to clean the sink and problem areas. Non-abrasive cleaners such as Bar Keeper's Friend or Soft Scrub along with a soft scouring pad should remove most stubborn stains with multiple cleanings.
Clean Magic Eraser should not be used on an enameled cast iron sink because it can remove the glossy finish.

For everyday cleaning: Wash with dish soap, hot water, and a non-scratch scrubbing sponge or brush. Avoid steel wool or any kind of metal scrubber, as it could scratch the enamel. For stubborn burnt spots and stains: Try one of these methods. Boil with baking soda: Fill the pot halfway with water and bring to a boil.
Is Bar Keepers Friend abrasive? There are abrasive particles in all BKF products except for MORE Spray + Foam. The powder products contain more abrasive than the pre-diluted Soft Cleanser. For jobs that require additional scrubbing power, use one of our powder products.
When it comes to basic cleaning, dish soap and hot water work well on enameled Dutch ovens. If there are more challenging stains, using Bar Keepers Friend should do the trick.
Your sink's lifespan will depend a lot on its material. Stainless steel sinks last 15 to 30 years. Porcelain sinks last 25 to 30 years before they'll need to be refinished, after which they can last longer. Enamel steel sinks only last about 5 to 10 years if used frequently.
In most cases, these stains can be removed by using Shiny Sinks or Bar Keepers Friend. Be sure to clean in the same direction as the grain lines of the finish. Rinse well and dry the sink.
For everyday cleaning we suggest Ajax, Comet, Bon Ami, etc. For stubborn stains or pot marks we recommend Zud, Bar Keeper's Friend or other slightly abrasive cleaners. Use sparingly. DO NOT USE abrasive sponge pads, steel wool, or any type of wire brush as they may mark or etch finish.

You can fix chipped enamel on cast iron and steel sinks, and you can make the repair almost invisible with a special enamel repair kit.
If you don't feel comfortable using bleach, try lifting stain with a gentle abrasive. There are many abrasive cleansers on the market, and not all are designed for porcelain. One safe and effective liquid is Bar Keepers Friend®.
Weight: Composite sinks are typically heavier than stainless steel sinks, which can make installation a bit more challenging. Ensure your benchtop can support the weight and consider consulting a professional installer if needed.
Since the material is not entirely heat proof, you'll want to avoid pouring boiling water in a granite composite sink.
