It's possible to mimic natural airflow in a room without windows by using two fans at once. To cool a room with two fans, position one fan out, toward the doorway. Directly across from the first fan, position a second fan pointing upward toward the ceiling.
The Fan-and-Ice Trick
It requires a fan and a bowl of ice packs or ice cubes. When the fan blows past the bowl of ice, the air is a little chillier, and if the fan is powerful enough, it can even create a rather enjoyable mist effect.
Keep curtains closed. Sunlight = heat. If you have shutters or window shades, use them! Keep air moving with fans or open doors/windows. Try to use/find fans with water misting built into them...they do actually cool a bit more than a normal fan, using the principles described above.

During a heatwave, homes up and down the country can become hotspots for humidity, especially for those who have any sun-facing windows. One way to cool down a home in the heat, is to use a wet towel.
Place a fan near an open window to draw in cool air from outside. You can also use a ceiling fan or standing fan to improve air circulation within the room. During the day, keep windows, curtains, blinds, or shades closed to prevent direct sunlight from entering the room. This helps reduce heat buildup.
While using ice to cool a room is a cost-efficient approach to beat the summer heat, it isn't the most effective solution. If you're in a larger room, the ice will most likely not be enough to keep the entire area cool. As a result, you'll have to figure out which area of the room you want to chill.
Place one fan facing out of a window in the room you want the coolest. Then, use a second fan to create a strong airflow toward the first fan. Do this by placing the second fan facing inward, either in front of a second window or pushing air into the room you're trying to cool.
Vent through a door: If there are no windows available for venting, you may be able to vent the air conditioner through a door. Simply cut a small hole in the door and install a vent cover. Vent into another room: If there's another room nearby with a window, you may be able to vent the air conditioner into that room.
In theory, keeping a bucket of water in your room helps to keep it cool as the air absorbs the water from the bucket as it evaporates, reducing the temperature.
The salt will lower the freezing point, causing the ice to melt slower and keeping your drinks colder for longer. You can also use salt to melt ice that has already formed. Simply sprinkle salt on top of the ice and watch as it melts. The salt will disrupt the ice crystals and cause them to melt faster.
Turn on the fan and put your bottles in front of it. The air will circulate around the ice, picking up its cold temperature and distributing it throughout your space. Keep the fan on as long as the bottles are frozen. Try to spread the bottles out so they don't block any of the fan's airstream.
