Determine Side Room Space

Replace the Weatherstripping
Weatherstripping consists of a flexible material like rubber or PVC. It sits along the bottom of the garage door to create a weather-tight seal between the door and the floor. Modern weatherstripping uses a U-shaped design to completely eliminate crevices.
Clearance issues are sometimes caused by loose or missing screws. Open the door to ensure it has all of the screws and that they are properly tightened. If the screws are loose and cannot be tightened, a thread lock material can be used to secure them.
The area between the doors is called a vestibule and it acts to keep you more comfortable and to save energy. Instead of the cold outside air entering the building every time the door opens, it mixes with the buffer air in the vestibule and is warmed before entering the building.
