Step Two: I let the clothes soak in the OxiClean for about 8 hours (6 hours is recommended but I just let mine soak overnight). Note: I literally let these SOAK. I did not scrub, I did not stir, I did nothing, nada, zilch, zip, zero. Just walked away and let OxiClean do the work.

Don't use more than directed
Using more OxiClean than you need to could result in a color loss for your clothes and fabrics.
Pre-soaking helps the stains to come lose and be removed more easily. Simply fill your washing machine, bucket or tub with warm water and then add your detergent and clothes. Allow the items to soak overnight for optimal results.

Damage Fibers
In theory, soaking too long can cause water to enter and damage the fibers. When that happens, your clothes can deteriorate, leading to holes and tears.
