After applying Raid® spray products such as Raid® Mosquito and Fly Killer, give the treated room or area some air! Exit the treated area and keep the room closed for 15 minutes. Then thoroughly ventilate before re-entry.
Pest control sprays generally take between 2 – 4 hours to dry which is why this is the time that is recommended for inhabitants to stay away. It is not recommended that inhabitants return before pesticides dry because they can cause health problems if touched or breathed in.
Raid is not intended to be used around pets, and it can cause serious harm if ingested. To prevent future exposure, you may want to consider using alternative methods of pest control that are safer for your cat, such as natural repellents, traps, or diatomaceous earth.
Keep Pets Indoors During and After Outdoor Treatments: For outdoor pesticide applications, keep pets inside until the treatment is dry and ideally for up to 48 hours if possible. This reduces the chances of them coming into contact with any harmful chemicals.
To know for sure you'd have to call the manufacturer of the product but most products say on their label that once the area dries, it is safe for pets to Re-enter and area with bug spray. I would discourage her from licking the area but walking over it should cause no problems.
Let it dry.
Insecticides have the highest risk for animals while they are still wet and lower risk once dried. To keep your pets safe, it is best to keep them away from the treated area until the insecticide has dried completely.
While the ingredients in the Raid sprays can be toxic to kitties, the concentration of the ingredients are typically VERY small. It can cause a tingling sensation in the mouth that can cause drooling, and we sometimes see vomiting and diarrhea. A little bit of mild vomiting is not abnormal.
Give It Some Air!

Typically its safe to return within 6-8 hours of spraying as the spray has dried completely. Typically permethrin aren't a risks to cats unless ingested, so our biggest concern should be for ensuring she does not come in contact with wet product.
Once the pesticides have dried, toxic residues can remain on the treated surfaces, so consider taking precautions to prevent your pet from licking, chewing or eating any plants or other items treated with pesticides even after they have dried.
Usually, one has to wait for two to four hours and 24 hours maximum to stay away from home. After fumigation, you need to stay away for 24 hours and 3 hours if exterminators spray outside. If you have babies, you must stay away from your home for 3 to 7 days after treatment.
The best pet safe roach killer dusts' contain diatomaceous earth (DE) or amorphous silica. These naturally derived substances work by drying out the cockroaches, not poisoning them. Generally, dusts are safer than chemical sprays like Raid if your pet touches or even ingests some.

If you need to wipe down an area where you've sprayed or spilled, use warm soapy water and a paper towel. Be sure to read the product label for more usage information.
If possible, they should stay inside or avoid the area for about 30 minutes after spraying. If pesticides are applied inside the home, windows should be opened to allow air flow.
Raid uses ingredients like pyrethroids, cypermethrin, imiprothrin, and pyrethrin. Some are all-natural, while others are synthetic. The combination of all of them can very much be toxic. Essentially, what makes them so deadly to bugs can also make them poisonous to pets and people, especially babies.
How long after service should you wait before letting dogs go outside? If the treatment is applied to the exterior of your home, then you must wait for at least 20-30 minutes before allowing your dogs to go outside.
If you leave the spray and let it dry, it will keep killing cockroaches with residual action for up to 2 weeks as long as the bugs come in contact with it.
If you're just spraying for roaches around the room, protect their belongings and keep them out for about 6–8 hrs. Use proper ventilation after spraying and fogging.
At a minimum, you and your family should wait at least 30 minutes before going outside and walking around the area that was sprayed. Keep your pets indoors during this period as well. Waiting at least 30 minutes reduces your chances of breathing in pesticides or getting them on your skin, clothes, etc.

Following the application of Raid, the treated area should be completely dry before pets are allowed back. The drying time can fluctuate based on the precise product used and environmental parameters like humidity and air circulation.
The most obvious signs of poisoning are tremors, convulsions, and high fever. Affected animals initially become more alert or apprehensive. Muscle spasms begin in the face and gradually spread to involve the whole body. Convulsions may last from a few seconds to several hours and lead to coma.
Although products such as Raid are relatively safe to humans (when used as intended), the act of huffing, smoking, snorting, vaping, plugging, drinking and/or injecting Raid or other bug sprays can cause irreversible neurological damage, or even death.
