In many cases applying a solvent to the pavers will "reset" the sealer, making the white haze disappear. This usually works for trapped moisture and if you have sealer buildup. Unfortunately, if the white haze is from something else then you will need to strip off all of the old sealer and start over.
You can try cleaning the pavers with a mixture of water and mild detergent. Another option is to hire a power washing company to do a low-pressure wash. If you still think they need to be enhanced, you could use paver sealant to bring out the color of faded pavers. Although bleach is great at the whitening effect, you can use peroxide to achieve this. Hydrogen peroxide is an oxygenated bleach. It is safe for plants, so when you rinse this solution, it won't harm anything. It works together with the dish soap and baking soda to remove dirt and whiten dirty concrete.
Usually, hosing them down once a month is sufficient. Use soap and water, if the pavers are still dirty after sweeping and water hosing, make a solution of soap and water. You can use dish soap, laundry detergent, or any type of general-purpose cleaner. Never use bleach on your pavers, as it can damage the surface.
When you install polymeric sand in the joints of pavers, the manufacturers suggest that you spray the paved area with water and leave time to dry. If you overwater the area their binders will leach out of the polymeric sand. It's this leaching causes that white haze, or polyhaze, on paving stones.
Pavers should be cleaned and sealed every two to three years depending on how often they are exposed to traffic, liquids, sunlight etc. Paver surfaces can also be power washed between cleanings but paver sealing is still necessary after paver cleaning has occurred.
The basic rule of thumb is every 3-5 years. For film-forming sealants, you will be able to notice when the physical barrier is showing signs of wear. For non-film-forming sealants, you will begin to see a significant color change of pavers during a rain when the sealant is wearing thin.
