A simple solution of a gallon of warm water and a tablespoon of mild dish washing liquid should clean and shine a high gloss kitchen cabinet. For caked-on grease or splotches from sauces, add a cup of vinegar to the water and soap solution. Begin cleaning high gloss kitchen doors from the top down.

To get scratches out of high gloss laminate flooring, you can use touch-up kits to fill in the damage or shoe polish to buff out the damage. Other options include using melted crayons, burn-in sticks, and toothpaste. Or you can simply replace the plank entirely.
What is the difference between white spirit and turpentine? Turpentine is made of the natural resin extracted from trees, and white spirit is made of petroleum distillate. White Spirit tends to be less flammable and less toxic than turpentine.
You can simply use washing-up liquid for emulsion paints or white spirits for oil-based or gloss paints. If you don't have white spirits lying around just use some vinegar. Using vinegar might take longer and it might stink the place up, but it works just as well and can be a fair bit cheaper.
