Purchase cable protectors made out of rubber or another flexible material. Twist or slip the protectors onto the ends of the wire where it meets the connectors to prevent the wire from breaking due to tension and bending. These types of protectors look like thick rubber spirals and come in a variety of colors.
To strengthen your cables, you can use products such as cable sleeves, bend protectors, simple duct tape or Fixit sticks (our favourite). These provide extra protection from repeated bending and friction, even if the cable already has some built-in reinforcement.
Curly cords are what allow the cable to grow. When you return the handset to its place, the curly cords retract and take up little space. Otherwise, you would be stuck with a huge pile of cable behind your phone!”
Purchase a phone cord detangler.
Phone cord detanglers are devices that you can use to connect the phone cord to the phone itself. Rather than allowing the phone to tangle as you move it around, the detangler will spin or rotate in response to the energy built up twisted phone cord.

Temperature. The higher the temperature, the more the wire or cable will bend. The opposite is true when the temperature drops, making the wire more rigid.
A cable protector keeps USB cables, earphone wires, mouse cables, and charging cords safe from premature breakage and damage. Cords and cables, over time, tend to break at their tip due to regular use. This happens because we, or, most of us, frequently bend and fold them while using or after using.
Repurpose an Organizer
Or try reusing a rotating tie or belt organizer to keep cords in line. Drape each cord on the individual hooks and hang it where it's out of reach for little ones. Label the cords with different colored electrical tape so you can find what you need in a pinch.
Additionally, curly phone cords tend to be more durable than their straight counterparts. The coiled design helps prevent tangling and knotting, which can lead to damage or fraying over time. Plus, they are often easier to store and transport since they take up less space when coiled.
By twisting wires that carry an equal and opposite amount of current through them, the interference/noise produced by one wire is effectively canceled by the interference/noise produced by the other. A twisted pair also improves rejection of external electromagnetic interference from other equipment.
If only the plug prongs are bent or snapped, start by replacing the plug. If the cord itself is frayed or has exposed wiring, you'll need to replace the entire electrical cord. Replacing only the plug could leave you open to electrical shock.
“It is important to avoid excessive bending of the cable which can shorten its life, potentially leading to shock, or arcing and pitting which could lead to fire,” Ford said. “How the end user treats the cable plays a big role in what the actual bend radius will be.
