Routine Care And Maintenance:
Do not use abrasive cleaners, such as steel wool or scouring powder, as these may scratch your floor. Do not use cleaning products that contain surfactants. Dish lotions, laundry detergents, Murphy Oil Soap cleaners should not be used to maintain your flooring.
Before you start cleaning, test the Magic Eraser on a small area of your ceramic/vinyl floors. After the test, you're ready to go. Swipe the Magic Eraser across the scuffs with a steady grasp. In just a few swipes, you should start to see the mark lift away from your ceramic/vinyl floors like, well, magic!
Shine Refresher

However, Bona floor cleaners can take on your wood, laminate, tile, or LVT floor without issue.
Mild cleaners like a distilled vinegar solution are more appropriate for luxury vinyl flooring. A mixture of warm water and white distilled vinegar goes in the bucket. The ideal ratio is one cup of vinegar per gallon of water.
Try a “no-wax” wax substitute for your vinyl floor. It'll give it the shine of wax but without the dull buildup. Paste wax isn't recommended for vinyl. A budget-friendly option for making floors shine is to add a drop or two of baby oil while mopping with vinegar.
If your flooring is waterproof, you can use a wet Swiffer safely, and can get a deeper clean than you'll get with a dry mop. Make sure that you use pads that feature a neutral household cleanser, rather than any harsh chemicals that could damage the flooring.

But most people use homemade DIY product to polish LVP. For instance, to add shine to your vinyl floor, add a few drops of baby oil to the vinegar and water solution. For stubborn scuffs, try putting some WD-40 lubricant or jojoba oil on a towel and rub the area until the scuffs disappear.
Pine-Sol is also safe for luxury vinyl wood plank flooring and vinyl tile flooring, so long as used with a dry mop and you do not saturate the floors.
Applying a Vinyl Floor Polish
One of the most effective ways to bring back the shine is by using the best vinyl floor polish. These products are designed specifically for vinyl and can significantly enhance the glossy finish.
