Combine two parts vinegar and one part water in a spray bottle and spray the entire bathtub. Allow this soaking solution to sit in the tub for 15 to 20 minutes. Use a cloth or sponge to remove the dissolved dirt and soap scum from the tub. Rinse the tub and use a microfiber cloth to remove excess paste or solution.
A great way to fix a discoloured bathtub is to make a paste out of baking soda and water and apply it to the stain. Let the paste dry, then scrub it off with a brush or sponge. You can also try using diluted vinegar or lemon juice on the stain.

It may require flushing. Rusts on the inside of your tank can cause the water to become brown. This can be remedied by draining and refilling your water heater according to the manufacturer's instructions. The rust may be a signal that your water heater's days are numbered.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide are natural, non-toxic products that clean many surfaces in your home. The two products can be safely combined to form a paste or used separately to whiten laundry, remove odors, disinfect surfaces, and much more.

The toughest jobs call for even tougher cleaning products: disinfecting cleaners, vinegar, sometimes even bleach. But if have persistent stains and want to remove the soap scum, add one more product to your cleaning caddy: Dawn dish soap.
