To restore a dull or dingy bathtub to a bright white, use a homemade paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, or a mix of Dawn dish soap and distilled white vinegar. Apply the cleaner, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, scrub with a non-scratch pad, and rinse.
Natural tub cleaning with bicarbonate and vinegar
White basin / tub cleaning hack.... Mix bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar to form a paste. Apply to the tub, let sit for 30 minutes, then scrub and rinse. This natural hack removes soap scum, mildew, and stains, leaving the tub clean and sparkling.

Refinishing a Bathtub

👉Baking soda, Dawn dish soap and peroxide: 2 parts hydrogen peroxide to 1 part dish soap. Add a few tsp. of baking soda for extra deodorizing/scrubbing power, especially for pit stains and grease stains.
Acidic vinegar, particularly when used with baking soda, can wear down the rubber seals on your pipes. It's not just your actual pipes you have to be cautious of when unclogging drains.
Cleaning the Bathtub with Baking Soda and Vinegar
Mix the cleaning solution by adding one part water and one part vinegar to a spray bottle. Sprinkle baking soda on the areas that have stubborn stains, followed by a spritz of the vinegar/water solution.
On Clothes: Hydrogen-Peroxide-Only Method
