Activated Charcoal. While charcoal is a little trickier to work with than baking soda and white vinegar, it is also a highly effective odor-eliminator. The biggest thing to remember when using activated charcoal is to make sure it doesn't come into direct contact with your couch cushions or pillows. It will stain.
Just take one cup of white vinegar and combine it with a cup of water. Stir well, adding ½ a teaspoon each of vegetable glycerine and an essential oil of your choice, such as lavender or peppermint. Create a cleaning solution by combining equal parts water and white vinegar in a small bucket. Dip a microfiber cloth into the solution so that it is damp but not wet. Wipe the couch, rinsing the cloth regularly. Dry the couch with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
Treat Old Urine Stains with Enzymatic Cleaners
For old, persistent, or severe urine odors, an enzyme cleaner can be highly effective. These specialized cleaners contain enzymes that break down the urine molecules and neutralize the odor.
Add about 25 drops of your favorite essential oil to 2 tablespoons of baking soda and stir to combine. Lemon and lavender are great choices, but eucalyptus is my favorite because of the refreshing scent. Pour the baking soda and essential oil mix into the water and stir. Then funnel the water into your spray bottle.
Take a teaspoon of washing-up liquid, white vinegar, baking soda and warm water and mix together into a lather (the mixture should froth up as the baking soda and vinegar react with one another). Then, apply directly to any stains or smudges that you can spot on your fabric sofa. Leave to dry out for around 10 minutes.
Baking Soda
Sprinkle baking soda generously over the urine-stained area of your couch. Baking soda is excellent at absorbing odors and can help eliminate lingering smells. Allow the baking soda to sit for several hours or overnight to absorb the odor, then vacuum it up thoroughly.
Make a solution of baking soda, peroxide and any dish detergent. The combination of the three is often powerful enough to drive away strong urine smells. The solutions is eight fluid ounces of peroxide, three tablespoons of baking soda, and a few drops of dish detergent.
Try a DIY Cleaner
For fabric upholstery: Mix 1/4 cup vinegar, 3/4 warm water and 1 tablespoon of dish soap or Castile soap. Put in a spray bottle. Mist the soiled area. Scrub with a soft cloth until the stain lifts.
Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful stain-fighter, and it's perfect for tackling tough stains like blood. Plus, it's safe to use on most fabrics, so you can use it on your couch without worrying about damaging the material.
White vinegar and water
Then, mix 4 US quarts (3.8 l) of warm water with 1⁄2–1 cup (120–240 mL) of white vinegar. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and spray the affected area. Allow the solution to dry and it should make your couch smell much fresher than before.

Vinegar and essential oils
An odour absorber can also be prepared from vinegar and essential oil. Just mix half a glass of apple cider vinegar with 15-20 drops of your favourite essential oil. Soak hygienic cotton wools in this mixture and place them in suitable bags.

Soak In Baking Soda (or Vinegar)
If the odor persists, fill a sink, bucket, or tub with water and baking soda and allow your clothes or bedding to soak for 15 – 30 minutes. White Vinegar can be used as an alternative.
Combat Urine with Hydrogen Peroxide and Surfactants Together
