Small quantities generated by consumer use may be disposed of in a sanitary sewer with large quantities of water. Empty containers generated by consumer use may be disposed of as conventional waste.

A: Have used this product for years and I would have to say yes. The reason is because it may leave a slight film when it is not diluted. Please know that I have, on occasion, used it straight in order to remove stains from my wood.
Murphy's Oil Soap contains citronella oil for the fragrance. Well, citronella oil is a natural bug repellent and repels ants, mosquitoes, fleas, ticks.
You can use Pine-Sol® on wood floors, though it is not recommended for use on unfinished, unsealed, unpainted, waxed, oiled or worn wood.
MULTIPURPOSE CLEANER
Better Homes And Gardens recommends using Murphy® Oil Soap on outdoor furniture to freshen up plastic, metal, glass or wood items. You can also use it on other Furniture, such as your wood dining table and chairs, end tables, nightstands and bed frames.
The NUMBER ONE RULE is NEVER use Pledge or other spray furniture cleaning products on your antique furniture. They leave an oily residue–even the ones containing lemon oil. It's not the shine you need to preserve but the patina. Never use anything that has a rough texture to it.
If it is furniture - use Murphy's oil soap, but not on wood floors! Use only what the wood floor manufacturer recommends. If it's raw wood floors and finished in the home you can use a very small amount (2 Tablespoons) to a gallon of water.
The toilet is the best place to get rid of your mop water. It's easy, and it makes sure the dirty water goes where it's supposed to - into the sewage system.

Using a dust mop with a microfiber pad, we removed footprints, mud, food spills and scuffs. Since it comes as a ready-to-use spray, no diluting is necessary, making for quick and easy cleanup.
Start with a mixture of a safe, Natural Product Like Murphy® Oil Soap and hot water. Use a soft cloth and work your way over the surfaces of your shelves, chairs and desks, and notice if the wood is becoming cleaner. Even though oak is fairly strong, don't let it get too wet during this cleaning process.
Or a splash of white vinegar and a squirt of mild dish washing liquid in a bucket of water will do the trick if you make sure to dry the floor well after mopping.
The Murphy concentrated wood cleaner is an oil soap for cleaning wood surfaces like your floors, furniture or other wooden surfaces and comes in a recognisably distinct citronella scent. A 2.66 L jar is equivalent to approximately 90 ounces of cleaning fluid and should last you over 2 years.
Try mixing a weak solution of water and dishwashing soap. Dip a soft cloth in the solution, wring it out and wipe the entire piece. You want a damp cloth, not a wet one. Don't saturate the wood, and rinse your cloth often.
