Whether you brush, roll, dip, or pour, we always recommend applying Flex Seal Liquid in even coats and allowing 24 hours between coats. If you press it and it's soft, it's not dry yet. Allow 48 hours to completely dry. Depending on temperature and humidity, dry times will vary between indoor and outdoor applications.

A: Flex Seal Spray provides a smooth slightly textured matte finish when applied properly.
A: Flex Seal Liquid can be poured as thick as you need it, but the dry time will increase with thickness.
Although Flex Seal Liquid and Flex Seal spray are both designed to coat, seal, protect, and stop leaks, they are formulated in different ways. When layering our products, it's best to put Flex Seal Liquid on top of Flex Seal Liquid or Flex Seal spray on top of Flex Seal spray.
It's easy to use, and can be used on homes, boats, cars, and even RVs. Before you begin, you're probably wondering how long does Flex Seal last. When applied correctly (according to instructions) Flex Seal will last for three years, even longer.
What Does Flex Seal Spray Not Work On? We do not recommend using Flex Seal on foam. Some foams may react poorly with Flex Seal, and may warp or dissolve.

Use acetone to get Flex Seal off of metal. For car exteriors, use toluene instead. Soak the Flex Seal in mineral spirits and scrub repeatedly if you got the Flex Seal on wood or cloth. Remove Flex Tape using pliers, Flex Seal remover, and a whole lot of elbow grease.
Allow ample air into the room. There is a misconception that the hotter a room is, the quicker something will dry. However, this is not necessarily the case because humidity will curb the curing and drying process. You want the area to be a normal room temperature with plenty of ventilation.
A: It's always best to apply FLEX SEAL® LIQUID on a clean, dry surface free of grease and oil. If applied during a heavy rain some of the FLEX SEAL® LIQUID may wash away.
A: Depending on the number of coats and thickness, one MAX can will cover up to 15 sq. ft., one 14 oz. can will cover up to 12 sq. ft.
The Flex Seal should come right off! Use Goo Gone: Other commercial adhesive-removal products will work too! Just spray it on the adhesive, let it sit, and wipe it off. Soak it with a hot towel: Dunk a microfiber towel in hot water and lay the towel over the adhesive.
Flex Seal is actually a silicone-based family of products.
A: YES, Flex Paste can be applied on dry or wet surfaces and even underwater. It won't dissolve or wash away and even dries underwater.
