Daikin was the first in the world to introduce air conditioning and heat pump technology using R-32. The U.S. EPA approved the use of R-32 for room air conditioning units.
Daikin became the world's first company to succeed in applying R-32 to air conditioners by leveraging its expertise as the only manufacturer that develops and manufactures both air conditioners and refrigerants.
R32 is being increasingly used in residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning systems as a replacement for R22 and other older refrigerants.
The working (operating) pressure of R32 is about 12 – 26 Bar (174-377 Psi). It should be noted that while the operating pressure of R32 and R410A is similar, the former has a better ability to exchange heat-load, thus delivering a higher capacity.

R410A systems are not built to handle flammable substances like R32, so treating R32 like an R410A replacement can have dangerous consequences for you, your home and your HVAC technician.
