Bathtubs, showers, and toilets are other areas you'll want to scrub down and disinfect, so hands off the original Windex. “The best cleaning product for the bathroom are any products that are bleach or peroxide-based, like Lysol with Bleach or Comet,” says Monica Bowman of Two Maids & A Mop.
Windex can be used on more than glass surfaces. There are many ways to clean your tile floor: a mop and bucket of soapy water, a premoistened cleaning pad attached to a handle, and cleaning fluid, such as Windex, used with paper towels.
Use as an all-purpose bathroom cleaner.
Spray glass cleaner into the toilet bowl, allow to sit for about five minutes, and scrub as usual to remove stains. For bathtubs, showers, and vanity countertops, spritz cleaner onto the surface, wipe down with a microfiber cloth or sponge, and rinse with plain water.
Bathroom cleaner
Windex will clean everything in the bathroom—porcelain, plastic, chrome, tile, and grout; toilet, tub, walls, and floors, too. And of course the glass and mirrors. Caution: Make sure you rinse the tub and shower floor very well when you're done as it could make for a slip-and-fall situation.
Baking soda can remove hard dirt from the acrylic. For tough stains: First, fill the tub with hot water and vinegar. Allow this soaking mixture to stay for 15 minutes or more to loosen any mildew and scum, then drain the water.
Tile cleaner
If you'd like one product that cleans everything in your bathroom, the famous blue bottle of window cleaner might just be it. Windex can also be used to clean tiles and grout, without causing any damage.
You can use Windex® Ammonia-Free Glass Cleaner on your car's tinted windows, mirrors, glass, chrome, stainless steel, plastic, and vinyl surfaces.
The product may evaporate before wiping and cause streaking. Choosing the right towel can also help achieve a streak-free shine. Extra-absorbent paper towels can leave lint and film behind because they are treated. Cloths that contain fabric softener may also leave a cloudy residue.
Clean your glass doors with a glass cleaner at least once a week, keeping them free of dirt, fingerprints, and contaminants inside and out. Use a commercial glass stripper once every three months, or whenever your glass shower doors are starting to look like they need some extra attention.

A good way to clean bathroom tiles is with vinegar. Simply create a 50:50 diluted solution with white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray directly onto the surface. It can be used to clean soap scum from any surface including glass and tiles. All you have to do is buff it dry to avoid any streaks.
Clean ceramic tile floors with warm water or a mixture of warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap.
Spray a stronger mix of 1:1 water and vinegar (or Windex, or glass cleaner) at your window, so that the solution covers most of the glass. (I found Windex to work better, but if you have pets—or kids—who frequently lick outdoor windows, vinegar may be the best route for you.)
Countertop, glass cook top, tile, and grout grime won't stand a chance against Windex. The product works on granite, marble, and laminate countertops, and—best of all—won't erode or damage grout. No need to even switch cleansers when you switch to wiping down enamel and stainless steel appliances.
Kill mold and mildew on household surfaces
Windex original glass cleaner contains ammonia, an effective agent for killing the fungi that cause mold and mildew growth in moist areas around the home.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide are items you can get easily—you may already have them in your home! To make a cleaning paste for your tiles, mix half baking soda and half hydrogen peroxide. Then, put the mixture on the stained tiles and leave it sitting for one hour.
Porcelain. Porcelain is one of the most popular choices for tiling shares due to its versatility and affordability. You can find glazed, unpolished, and textured porcelain tiles. For easy cleaning, we recommend a large glazed tile that makes this already durable material stronger and less porous.
The best solutions for mopping a floor include using white vinegar, dish soap, window cleaner, or rubbing alcohol methods. These floor cleaners are easy to make at home and keep your floors clean.
Aslett recommends an easy cleaning solution: a quick squirt of dish detergent in a bucket of water. “Dish detergent is made to cut through grease and grime. Just don't use too much or the floors will be dull.”
