Dilute ¼ cup of Pine-Sol® in one gallon of warm water. Dampen a sponge in the mixture, wring out so it's just damp to wipe away grease, grime and dirt. Optional: Scrub stubborn messes or stains with full strength Pine-Sol®, using a sponge or soft cloth. Finish by rinsing with water and wipe kitchen cabinets dry.
On wood surfaces, do not allow puddles of product to remain. Pine-Sol® is not recommended for use on marble, aluminum, or unsealed, waxed, oiled or visibly worn wood.
Water (with a pH of 7) and dish soap (with a pH between 7 and 8) are always good options. The best cleaner, the one that is less likely to do damage to the wood is good old-fashioned elbow grease. Applied with a damp cloth, elbow grease should be effective at removing dirt and dust and even oil and grease build-up.

A mixture of 1 part Chlorine Bleach, (Clorox) to 32 parts water (½ cup bleach per gallon of water, or 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water) will need to sit on surfaces for 5-10 minutes in order to disinfect them. We found this did not harm either of our wood finishes.
What is this? Pine-Sol is more acidic than Fabuloso, which gives it an advantage in breaking down stubborn stains and complex messes caused by grease. Pine-Sol Original is the only liquid cleaning solution that disinfects.
Vinegar is the go-to natural cleaner when faced greasy cabinets. Mix a 50/50 solution of vinegar and warm water and pour it into a spray bottle. Mist on cabinets, let sit for a minute or two and then wipe clean with a soft cloth.
Dawn dish soap is famous for being an excellent degreaser, and this simple tip might be the best way to clean wooden cabinets. It is also mild enough that it won't ruin your wood cabinets or their finish. You can even use dish detergent as the best way to clean painted kitchen cabinets, too.
Deep cleaning:
Place about 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap or oil soap wood cleaner on the scouring sponge. Wet the sponge slightly and gently scrub the cabinet allowing it to form a lather. Wipe with a slightly wet cloth with fresh water in it. Then dry it with a microfiber cloth.
Steps For An Expert Clean
Mix ¼ cup of Pine-Sol® for each gallon of water. Dampen a soft sponge, cloth or mop with the mixture to wipe down the surface. Scrub stubborn spots with a gentle scrub brush or mop. Use Pine-Sol® full-strength if needed, following up with a water rinse.
Most people won't have any noticeable reaction to modern Pine SOL containing glycolic acid if it comes in contact with skin. In rarer cases, it can cause skin irritation. It is also quite safe in case you accidentally ingest it. Seek medical help if you start to experience an allergic reaction.
Pine-Sol vs Lysol
Lysol works just like Pine-Sol and will get rid of bacteria, fungi, mold, viruses, etc. after getting into contact with the surface for at least ten minutes. However, it may not be as effective if there are organic materials.

Pine-Sol gives the same advice. PineSol.com states, “We do not recommend mixing any Pine-Sol® product with other cleaning products or chemicals. Mixing cleaners can result in the release of hazardous gases.”
Apply a disinfectant
Take one-fourth cup of vinegar, mix it with one cup of warm water and pour it into a spray bottle. Next, take the spray bottle and gently agitate the solution. What is this? Spray the solution on your wood furniture and wipe it down with your microfiber cloth.
A simple solution of half a cup of distilled white vinegar, half a cup of warm water and a teaspoon of mild dish detergent like Dawn will also do the trick. Be sure to test the mixture first in a hidden area of the wood to make sure it does not damage the finish.
Instead, I have found that a spray bottle with a Pine Sol/water mixture is a life saver. I grabbed a few inexpensive spray bottles at the store a while ago, at about $2.00 a bottle. For every 1 cup of warm water, I add 1-2 tbsp Pine Sol. Spray, wipe, move on!
Cleaning toilets and disinfecting toilet bowls is easier with these tips. Pour Pine-Sol® directly onto a sponge, rag or scrubbing brush. Wipe down the toilet tank, lid, seat cover and outside of the bowl, reapplying more cleaner as needed. Rinse each surface with water.
Dilute ¼ cup of Pine-Sol® in a gallon of warm water. Sponge down the inside fridge walls with the solution. You may need a full-strength dose to handle those hard-to-clean areas. Follow up by thoroughly rinsing any surface that might come into contact with food or food containers.
