Although it's possible to scatter the OxiClean powder on the wet concrete and then scrub with a stiff broom, you'll probably get a more uniform result by mixing the powder with water first. Use four scoops of powder per gallon of water. The powder mixes best into warm-to-hot water.
For lingering stains, rewet the surface and sprinkle it lightly with Oxiclean. (Or you can make your own oxygen bleach.) This won't harm your lawn or plants lining your driveway, unlike chlorine bleach. Again, use the broom's bristles to scrub the area, then wait for 10-15 minutes.
Dish soap and water: Dish soap is a degreaser, and it works well to clean oily and grimy concrete. Create a cleaning solution of warm water and few drops of dish soap and apply it to the surface. Let it sit for a while, then mop the patio and rinse it with fresh water. Repeat the process as many times as needed.
A hose or pressure washer can help remove mold, mildew or water stains from concrete patios and driveways. If staining persists, use a mold remover or bleach solution to treat the area. Then scrub the stain with a brush and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Use a detergent such as Dawn or Ajax dishwashing liquid mixed with water to brighten a concrete patio that hasn't been cleaned in a while. Just as you would regularly vacuum the floor and dust your furniture inside your house, you should keep your patio clean so it's ready at a moment's notice to entertain.
Vinegar and Baking Soda
Simply fill a spray bottle with equal parts water and vinegar (or water and baking soda), and add a little bit of liquid dish detergent. Spray the mixture on your concrete surface and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then scrub and rinse your concrete.
Wash the concrete > Mix a solution of ⅓ cup powdered laundry detergent, such as Tide, per gallon of hot water; the granules will act as a mild abrasive. Working in sections, pour some solution onto the floor and scrub with a stiff bristle brush. Wait about 10 minutes for dirt to loosen, then repeat.
In fact, vinegar removes mold from concrete better than bleach. Bleach will only remove the top layer of mold, causing the mold to return.
As a gentler cleaner, bleach can't harm concrete's durable material. Aside from being an effective cleaner and stain remover, it also acts as a disinfectant to the concrete surface.

Another relatively safe and environmentally friendly solution for cleaning concrete is an oxygen bleach product, such as OxiClean. Just be sure to wear rubber gloves, as bleach products can be tough on skin. Sprinkle the powerful solution over the entire patio and scrub it with an ordinary push broom.
But that's not all; chlorine bleach can also be used for cleaning the concrete driveway. Of course, you should dilute it with equal parts of water or a 1:1 ratio. With the mixture ready, spray it on the driveway, allowing it to sit for 10 minutes. Then, use a stiff brush before rinsing with clean water.
Try using equal parts lemon juice and white vinegar. This creates a similar acidic solution that could lift your rust stains. For instance, you might use 1 part cleaning product with 10 parts water.
White vinegar will not damage your concrete. However, leaving this solution for an extended period will damage the cement that binds the concrete together. Hence, you should be careful when using vinegar on your concrete, especially if you will use this solution on polished concrete.
Interior Concrete Floors:
Do Not use Dawn, Simple Green, Ammonia or harsh cleaners as they will work to damage and even strip the wax. The wax should last for several months or longer, but when it does start to dull or scuff, clean and let dry, then reapply a fresh coat of wax and let dry.
Some good cleaners include Castile soap, liquid dish detergent, stone cleaners and mild floor cleaners.
Whether your patio is sealed concrete or cement, or even sealed concrete pavers, a bleach and water solution makes it easy to clean away built up soil, stains from leaves and pollen, mold, mildew and algae.
Spraying a vinegar solution (1 cup of vinegar per gallon of water) onto the surface, saturating it fully, should kill most strains of mold. Vinegar spray can be followed by power washing or manual hand scrubbing to remove the dead mold.
Combine 1/4 cup of liquid bleach with 1 gallon of hot water in a large bucket. To avoid damaging your lawn or walkways, always dilute your bleach and control your runoff when rinsing. Soak your brush in the solution and scrub the entire area until it's fully saturated.
