All you have to do is combine 1/4 cup liquid soap with distilled or filtered water and then add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for a pretty and natural fragrance. It's also a good idea to melt one or two teaspoons of coconut oil and add it to your soap solution.
Add in 2 pumps of dish soap. and 10 to 20 drops of lemon essential oil. Give that all a good mix together. and then add it to a pump bottle of your choice.
If you search online for the quantity of essential oils to use in your liquid soap, you'll find a number of sources that recommend 1% in the overall mix. One percent translates to one gram of oil to 100 grams of liquid soap base, or unscented Castile.

A suitable suggestion is to use 0.5% to 2% of the total weight of the soap. For example, if you have 500 grams of soap, you'd use 2.5 to 10 grams of essential oil (which is 0.5% to 2% of 500 grams). Start with a little oil, and add more if you want it stronger.

Use a carrier oil.
Essential oils are not water-soluble, so they won't disperse into the water in your tub. Instead, they float on top and stick to your skin, which might be irritating. It's better to mix them with a carrier oil to dilute them. Jojoba and coconut oil are two popular carrier oils.
