Wipe your dish thoroughly with a clean cloth and leave to dry upside down before putting it away. You can wash your STAUB product in the dishwasher.
Hand-wash: While Staub's cookware is dishwasher-safe, washing it by hand is recommended. The harsh cleaners in dishwasher detergent are hard on enamel, and exposed cast iron will likely begin to rust.
Make sure to wash enameled cast iron cookware by hand, as running it through the dishwasher can cause the enamel to wear out prematurely. Scrubbing with a sponge and dish soap should be enough to get rid of most messes—and if not, you're now equipped with the knowledge to get rid of the rest.
Staub says intermittent dishwasher use is ok.
The bowls are durable and great for mixing, baking bread, stirring up frosting, prepping eggs, or whipping up pancakes. Customers appreciate the bowls' stain resistance. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, with good stain resistance and no crazing or staining.
Technically, enameled cast iron is dishwasher safe, but we prefer hand washing to preserve the piece's finish. Allow cookware to cool before washing with warm soapy water, and dry promptly after cleaning. Choose a gentle dish soap, and use a sponge, everyday scrub cloth, or nylon brush.
Just like with traditional cast iron cookware, you should replace enameled cast iron cookware if any cracks appear. Enameled cookware is more likely to crack than traditional enamel from sudden temperature changes.
All Le Creuset pans with integral cast iron, phenolic handles or stainless-steel knobs are dishwasher safe although constant dishwashing may leave to some dulling of the enamel finish. Please ensure that the cookware is thoroughly dry before storing.
Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser
In this case, Staub recommends using Bar Keepers Friend, a soft cleanser.
Always add a drop of cooking oil to prevent damage from overheating. For grills, use the same method as above: preheating your cookware on low for 5 minutes and then brushing oil over the ribs or your food before grilling. Your STAUB cast iron product including handles and lid knobs can get very hot!
So the choice between Staub and Le Creuset really comes down to personal preference around look and feel. While in our product tests we prefer Le Creuset due to its slightly lighter weight and beginner-friendly light interior, we still recommend Staub as a high-quality Dutch oven.

You should avoid cooking acidic sauces in cast-iron pans for two reasons: first, the acid loosens trace amounts of molecules from the metal that can then leach into your foods, imparting a metallic flavor.
When you are done cooking and need to store leftovers, you can pop it into the fridge for a couple of days. And yes, your beans will stay fresh! If you want to keep them longer, you can remove the cooking liquid and freeze the food.
