Keep your surfaces clean and dust free
Mr Sheen's Multi-Surface Daily Cleaner is a single product that can used to clean, shine and eliminate dust on a variety of surfaces that include metal, wood, glass, and melamine surfaces.
Give any mirror a streak-free clean with a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water. Starting from the top of the mirror, mist the solution on the surface and wipe it down in zig-zag motion with a microfiber cloth. Spot-clean stubborn residue with rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad.
Windex Original Glass Cleaner
Windex is one of the most popular brands of glass cleaners on the market, and it's for good reason. It's incredibly effective at cleaning all sorts of glass surfaces, especially mirrors that immediately show and amplify smudges, fingerprints, and specks of dirt.
Glass. While an all-purpose cleaner can be used to clean glass, it won't perform as well as a dedicated glass cleaner. When it comes to wiping down mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces, a glass cleaner does a better job of dissolving oil and grease without creating streaks.
The biggest no-no when it comes to getting your mirrors clean is using paper towels. Paper towels are both single-use and leave teeny tiny bits of residue that can create an even bigger mess. In order to achieve a streak-free shine, use a microfiber cloth.
Rubbing Alcohol Windex Alternative
(Rubbing alcohol is also a safe cleaning solution for stains and sticky messes.) Mix one cup distilled water, three tablespoons vinegar, and ¼ cup rubbing alcohol in a new spray bottle and label it. Shake up your glass cleaning solution and spray it on your glass.
Plus, soapy cleaners leave behind a residue that may contribute to streaks, so avoid those as well. There's also a different type of mirror cloudiness that occurs when mirrors are exposed to excess moisture or abrasive cleaning products, which is usually referred to as "mirror rust".
The safest cleaner for a mirror is clean, warm water used with a soft cloth. An approved glass cleaner such as Windex or similar products may be used. However, be very careful not to allow the edges of the mirror to get or remain wet over a period of time.
DON'T: Use a Paper Towel
What they don't realize is that paper towels leave behind small pieces of residue, making the mirror look dusty. Instead, always use a clean, dry flat weave microfiber cloth. The microfiber acts as a magnet for dirt.
Don't use harsh chemicals or ammonia-based cleaners. These products can damage the integrity of your glass. Likewise, you should avoid ammonia and alcohol-based cleaners as they can leave streaks and make your glass look dirty.

Using Coarse Sponges or Steel Wool
But even the scrubby side of a sponge can be too much for a glass stovetop's delicate surface. Abrasive cleaners or scouring tools (including steel wool) can lead to tiny scratches or even deep pits on your stovetop.
Rubbing Alcohol and Vinegar/Glass Cleaner
Place some rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad and rub it on the stains. The alcohol dries off quickly so make sure you clean the stains quickly. Spray glass cleaner or vinegar and water on the cloth, if you spray it directly on the mirror, it can create tarnish marks.
Combine one cup water, one cup vinegar and a teaspoon of dish soap in a spray bottle. Shake gently to mix. Apply the solution directly to the mirror and let it sit for a few seconds. Wipe the spray on the mirror away with either a microfiber cloth or newspaper.
Dip a cotton ball or pad into rubbing alcohol, then wipe it across the mirror in circular motions. Then wipe the mirror with a clean cloth spritzed with glass cleaner. Or, dampen a clean cloth with white vinegar and use it to wipe down the glass.

Cleaning mirrors without streaks is easy with microfiber
To clean mirrors without streaks, all you need is the All-Purpose Microfiber Towels and Microfiber Glass Cleaning Cloths. Dampen the microfiber towel, wring out the excess water, and wipe over the mirror using a side-to-side motion.
Do paper towels scratch mirrors? While paper towels and tissues may seem soft, they have a raw, unrefined surface that attracts dust, creating a rough, abrasive surface that can encourage small scratches on your glass – so avoid using them for cleaning your mirrors.
