For everyday dirt and grime, we recommend cleaning your ceramic/fireclay sink with mild dish soap or detergent with warm water and a soft cloth.
You can use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, then thoroughly rinse with dish soap and water. You can then apply mineral oil on the sink once dry to bring back its dark sheen.
How to remove stains from a SILGRANIT sink? Stubborn stains can be removed by pouring a little warm vinegar or vinegar-based cleaner into the sink and allowing it to sit for a few minutes.
Use vinegar cleaner, citric acid or rely on our BLANCO DailyClean+ cleaner to remove limescale deposits. Apply the cleaner to the affected surfaces and let it soak in. Then clean your sink with a soft sponge and finally rinse with clear water. Rub dry with a microfiber cloth and your sink is clean again.
Clean your ceramic sink regularly with a mix of hot water and washing up liquid along with a soft cloth to keep on top of small stains. Removing small marks will ensure you won't have to deep clean your sink as frequently. You can also remove use our Cramer ceramic polish to brighten up your sink.

How to deep clean a SILGRANIT sink? You can use dishwasher tablets for deep cleaning: fill 1–3 cm of hot water into the bowl, dissolve a tablet overnight. In the morning, scrub with scotch-brite nylon pad and thoroughly rinse with dish soap and water. Magic eraser will also help in removing stubborn stains.
I have a white Blanco sink, and while it stains, you can bleach it and the stains come out. I've had mine for a year and satisfied with it.

Is Bar Keepers Friend abrasive? There are abrasive particles in all BKF products except for MORE Spray + Foam. The powder products contain more abrasive than the pre-diluted Soft Cleanser. For jobs that require additional scrubbing power, use one of our powder products.
You should always avoid highly harsh chemicals or abrasives such as ammonia and steel wool. Keep in mind that granite composite sinks can be damaged by extreme heat and aluminum cookware. Aluminum cookware can scratch the surface of the stone.
Many homeowners ask if Magic Erasers® can be used on porcelain or if they will damage ceramic tile. The good news is that they can be safely used on ceramic tiles and porcelain, so you have nothing to worry about if you plan on using them this way.

Use soft or micro fibre cloths (eg. E-cloth). A 50% mix of water and white vinegar can be used to remove limescale deposits, ensure to rinse thoroughly after use, do not leave the vinegar in contact with the surface. A nylon scratch pad or toothbrush can be used on difficult areas.
Bar Keeper's Friend states it is safe on porcelain, fireclay, and cast iron farmhouse sinks, but of course you'll want to test it on an inconspicuous spot first to be certain. (It's also great on stainless steel!)
The SECRET to cleaning a fireclay sink is to clean with a scrub sponge and Bar Keepers Friend which is a powdered cleanser and to use a Magic Eraser. The Magic Eraser is a game changer! My farmhouse sink receives a few small black marks due to metal scrapes.
