While I usually add just water and vinegar, you could try washing soda, hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, citric acid, salt, or even a few drops of essential oils for fragrance based on the task at hand (just make sure not to mix anything that could be dangerous together!).
1. Mix it with bleach When it comes to cleansers, you should never, ever mix them. Why? Because some combos can be toxic. And unless you're a chemist, you're probably not an expert. So never ever mix your dish soap with bleach, ammonia, or any other cleanser.
Don't use Pine Sol straight from the bottle, though. To make your Pine Sol fly repellant mix ⅓ water, ⅓ vinegar, and ⅓ Original Scent Pine Sol. You can add a dash of Skin So Soft or Citronella to the mix if you like, too.
