Yes, we recommend temperatures to not exceed the limits below when using the following Rambler® Drinkware items and lids. Our Rambler® Drinkware locks in hot temperatures, so please, always open carefully. Do not overfill. Hot liquids must remain below the solid ring located beneath the threads.
But Yeti products are known for their superior insulating abilities, and the Rambler has some excellent improvements over glass or plastic models. The first is the ceramic-lined inner chamber, surrounded by double-walled vacuum insulation that keeps your coffee hot. Really hot.
Hot: 5 hours
The Yeti Rambler offered five hours of heat retention with the MagSlider magnetic lid closed. This above-average performance, however, was cut in half when the slider was left open, only staying hot for two and a half hours.
The Bottles go wherever there's a need for ice-cold or piping-hot beverages. Their Over-the-Nose™ Technology makes for easy loading, drinking, and cleaning.
I have used my 14 oz Yeti mug to have - Milk, coffee, tea, oats, beer, buttermilk, soda, noodles, wine, hot chocolate, popcorn, smoothie and water ! I love that mug !!
TOUGH STAINS? For coffee or tea stains that just won't let up, opt for our deep-cleaning tablets. Drop in one YETI Cleaning Tablet, let sit for five minutes.
Yeti: Which is better? ✔️ Weight and Feel: When directly comparing the two, I found that the 40-ounce Stanley cup feels lighter and slimmer than all of the Yeti tumblers with a built-in handle. In my experience, the Stanley lid is easier to put on and take off than the Yeti's, though it's a bit more involved to clean.
YETI Tumblers can handle the wild. But can you put a YETI in the dishwasher, too? You bet. Legendary YETI durability doesn't stop inside your dishwasher; thanks to rugged 18/8 stainless steel construction, your YETI cup is safe and sound.
People swear by their Yetis and with good reason. They actually keep your drinks cold, ice unmelted, and seltzer bubbly for hours. Plus, the insulation and large size make them perfect for outdoor activities.
Innovative Design and Construction. Yeti coolers boast an innovative design and construction that sets them apart from the competition. The company uses rotomolded construction, a process that involves a high-temperature, low-pressure plastic molding method.
You might be surprised to read this, but YES. The same insulation that keeps the cooler cold also retains heat. Just like how your Rambler® Drinkware will keep your ice water nice and cold, and your coffee piping hot. To ensure you don't damage the cooler, we recommend you keep contents below 200F.
Temperature Retention
The Yeti can keep your ice from melting for more than 24 hours, and it can keep your drinks cold for well into the next day. The thermos can keep your drink cool for about the same amount of time, but the Rambler just barely edges out the Stainless King in this department.
After 5 hours, the coffee had lost 54° F from the brew temperature. If you haven't had your coffee 5 hours after brewing, you'll probably never drink it. At 124° F, it was still coffee I would drink. I'm super impressed with this product!
One of the reasons that your Yeti cup can not hold ice and keep your drink cold is that the vacuum insulation might be damaged or the insulation material is damaged or got wet. If this is the case you may need to contact the company and see if they can replace it or repair it for you.
Dip the sponge with baking soda in the Yeti to make a paste with the White Distilled Vinegar and scrub. 5. Rinse thoroughly! To get into the crevices, I have found that a baby bottle cleaning brush bristles are great!
Rugged and robust quality
There's no compromise on the quality of the materials that go into its coolers and drinkware, nor the meticulous nature of their design. For example, the manufacture of its coolers is costly due to the nature of their rotomolded polyethylene and the commercial-grade polyurethane insulation.
Do not use this Rambler® Straw Lid with hot beverages. We suggest swapping the Straw Lid for our MagSlider™ Lid if you plan to pair this mug with hot beverages.
The tumbler is a durable product, it can last for an exceedingly long period before it is worn out. Consumers and Manufactures should understand that Yeti tumblers' raw materials are reusable, thus the product reduces the production of harmful pollutants and helps conserve natural resources.
YETI's top competitors include Hidrate, S'well Bottle, and Stanley International. Hidrate focuses on promoting hydration and wellness and operates in the health tech industry.
These factors — combined with Stanley's history as a durable, reliable brand, the aesthetic quality of the tumbler overall plus limited-edition drops (which create a sense of scarcity), and the influence of social media — have led to entire cupboards and even walls devoted to Stanley cup collections.
The best Yeti cooler alternatives for the Roadie and Tundra include dupes like Rtic coolers, Igloo, IceMule, Coleman, and Pelican.
As per Yeti's own FAQ page, you absolutely CAN use the Chug Cap with hot beverages. It is only the Straw Cap that is incompatible with hot beverages. Thank you for your feedback!
"To get rid of all the residue and resulting mold, you should totally disassemble the tumbler and scrub all the pieces by hand in hot, soapy water to be sure they are clean," she explains. "These cups and thermal carafes have removable seals for a reason."
Best of all, Yeti claims that its double-wall insulation works for more than just hot beverages. According to the website, even chilly drinks like iced coffee and water stay temperature regulated for several hours. Bring on the iced coffee concentrates!
