I recommend as a minimum the Yale Superior cylinder, they are a good quality lock with some interesting features – They are difficult to pick, difficult to drill and very difficult for burglars to snap – combined with good quality handles and fitted correctly they are a burglars worst nightmare.
Lock snapping is one of the most common burglary methods, and it has been estimated around 27% of all burglaries are through snapping the lock. Lock snapping occurs when force is applied to the outside of the cylinder, using mole grips or similar.
Both are easy! Measure from the centre of the screw hole (X) to the edge of the handle backplate on the outside (O) and round up the size to the next 5mm increment i.e. 32mm = 35mm. This will ensure the euro cylinder protrudes from the backplate of the handle (try to keep it as close to the backplate as possible).

A Night Latch (Yale Lock) is a lock commonly found on home front doors; they are mounted to doors that open inwards and mounted to the inner surface of the door. When the door is closed the night latch automatically latches the door shut.

Which Manufacturer? Check the faceplate and gearbox on the locks for the manufacturer or the logo. If there is no logo stamped on the faceplate or gearbox, it is more than likely to be ABT, Millenco, and Weru or is an older version of Fullex or KFV.
